Unique Personalized Mother's Day Gift Ideas

I always have the worst time every year thinking up something amazing for my mom. She's so wonderful and she takes such good care of me, my husband and our kids. This year I tried asking myself what meant a lot to me that my kids had gotten me for Mother's Day. The gifts I remember most are the ones the kids made themselves. Handmade gifts are the best aren't they? I also remember the personalized messages and gifts they gave me. I cherish them dearly. When I asked my mom if there was anything special she wanted this year she said, "I love the monogrammed letters or monogrammed logos and I'd love something with all my children's names on it." But what to put that on? What would make this the perfect Mother's Day gift? It finally hit me that a custom pillow would be the perfect gift. She could see it everyday and it matched her living room! Check out the finished product. I hope she loves it!!!

And while I was crafting, creating and shopping for mom I made my own Mother's Day Gift. A burlap fox pillow! Is this not AWESOME!?! I love a fox. Mmmmmhhhhhmmmm!

First Birthday Minnie Mouse Party Theme and Invitations

I had the best time creating these invitations for my sister's friend. Her little girl, Ava, was turning one, and of course we have to go all out. First Birthday Minnie Mouse was the theme! The custom Minnie invitations had a super cute stripped jacket that closed with cute stickers that were customized just for baby Ava. All I needed was a party plate from Party City to go by. I matched up all the colors and went to creating.

I really LOVED how the First Birthday Minnie Mouse Cupcake toppers and wrappers turned out. So freaking cute! I need to ask for party pictures so I can see how everything turned out. Love the colors - so perfect for a little girl's first birthday party. 

Of course, no birthday party is complete without chocolate. I made customized First Minnie Mouse Birthday candy bar wrappers and cute little note pads for each of her guests! 

Let's not forget the First Minnie Mouse Birthday customized thank you notes! I am such a stationary freak. 

I forgot about the tags I made to tie around the little notepads - super cute if you add a pink or orange writing pen and tie it in a big bow on top. Great First Minnie Mouse Birthday favors! 

Eeeekkkk and the First Minnie Mouse Birthday table food cards! So sweet. I'm not sure how the party turned out but I would have decked the place OUT in these cute colors. The stripes are super classy. 

Last but not least, I created baby Ava a little sign in poster that her mom let guests sign and then she framed it. What a great keepsake!
